Starting A Vegetable Garden

I just have recently started my vegetable garden and I am just so excited about it. Just started with few varieties like lettuce, pechay, pepper and onions.  Since I don't have enough space to work on a raised garden bed, I just content myself with the vertical one in containers.  I bought some seeds from the supermarket and asked my son to get me a sack of garden soil from the nearby garden center.  It's actually my first time to try vegetable gardening as I always have some reservations doing this.  I am into gardening since many years ago, but I am just collecting mainly ornamental and flowering plants.

My affiliation with a gardening enthusiasts group inspired me to start a small one even in my own yard.  I bought some plastic containers and started right away with my DIY vertical garden.  I was so happy to find some small leaves coming out from my planted seeds.

I am not so sure if I will be successful in this vegetable garden because I am really clueless as to how should I go about it like the amount of sunlight and water needed, fertlizer and other stuff.  I am just hoping that my seedlings would survive and become full grown as this will definitely give me an inspiration to continue with this new venture in gardening.

  3. You will have to provide all your plants nutrients since many potting mixes do not have organic fertilizer. Bill are the Remember that more isn't better as it pertains to applying fertilizer.
