Chrissy Teigen Speaks About Raising A Home And Family

Ten months after giving birth, Chrissy Teigen already posed for the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue. Wow! John Legend’s better half admitted she was hesitant at first but everyone made her feel comfortable so she did it.

The 31-year-old model tells PEOPLE Now that her confidence level changed a lot but once she got there and she saw MJ and the entire team rooting on her, she’s happy to do it.  However, Chrissy, in all honesty, admitted that she was for sure nervous during the shoot. She said further that she still had her belly line and stitches. Well, I still think that, to be able to shoot for Sports Illustrated ten months post partum is remarkable!

When asked about her and John Legend being tagged as #RelationshipGoals couple, Chrissy said, “I do think it’s kind of silly. I love being that way, because I love people looking up to somebody who has a relationship that’s enviable, of course. But also, the things they say it for are so stupid, like, we’ll be eating a burrito and someone will be like, ‘Relationship goals!’ and I’m like, ‘Go get a burrito? Just eat a burrito! We should definitely have higher standards of relationship goals, but at the same time we’re very happy to be people’s relationship goals.”

Can’t agree more on what she said. Everything is on point!

Starting A Vegetable Garden

I just have recently started my vegetable garden and I am just so excited about it. Just started with few varieties like lettuce, pechay, pepper and onions.  Since I don't have enough space to work on a raised garden bed, I just content myself with the vertical one in containers.  I bought some seeds from the supermarket and asked my son to get me a sack of garden soil from the nearby garden center.  It's actually my first time to try vegetable gardening as I always have some reservations doing this.  I am into gardening since many years ago, but I am just collecting mainly ornamental and flowering plants.

My affiliation with a gardening enthusiasts group inspired me to start a small one even in my own yard.  I bought some plastic containers and started right away with my DIY vertical garden.  I was so happy to find some small leaves coming out from my planted seeds.

I am not so sure if I will be successful in this vegetable garden because I am really clueless as to how should I go about it like the amount of sunlight and water needed, fertlizer and other stuff.  I am just hoping that my seedlings would survive and become full grown as this will definitely give me an inspiration to continue with this new venture in gardening.

Turning Your Backyard Into A Haven

Turning your backyard into something magical is not as difficult as it may seem, it's not even costly, too.  This design as shown above is one great example.  The wooden canopy could just be a weekend DIY project.  An old set of furniture under the canopy would do.  This plus some good potted plants and solar lights would instantly transform your backyard into a wonderful view.  Add some string lights and you are set to go for that romantic date or to a weekend get away with friends. To complete the relaxing mood, you can even opt to use an audio technica.  That would be perfect, isn't it?

There are still a lot of design inspirations to choose from.  In my case, I always opt for something that is not so costly but beautiful.  After all, we would like to create this for relaxation purposes as we do not want to get stress right? I guess doing away with a great amount of expenses should be the first consideration. :)
